We will be presenting three different schemes for the pocket park, and soliciting feedback and comments.

How about some pictures of the site? Or of other examples of solar installations?

Don’t think I can make Wed’s meeting, but look forward to seeing what you post afterwards!
Can you start an email list or google group to send out meeting notices? I don’t always remember to go directly to the site and would’ve missed this mtg altogether had it not been for a flyer on a light pole near my house.
thanks!

It would be nice if more garden space could be worked into these designs somehow. Right now p-patch space is at a premium in our neighborhood so increasing growing areas would localize our food system more and provide our neighborhood with fresh, healthy, organic food grown by us. I would be happy to help with design/management of the garden area if need be. I will hopefully be at the meeting tomorrow night.

What is the status of property ownership? IE: What about the property owner, Seattle City Light? They are seventy million dollars in debt. Will they donate the property (worth $250,000)? What is their responsibility to their customers, the vast majority of whom have absolutely no interest in this project. Personally, I would rather they spend the money to hire a crew to fix the street light in front of my house that hasn’t worked since last July.
